Dear Members of the PSD Community,
I hope everyone is in good health and spirits as we get ready to close out the 2022-23 school year and head into summer. I wanted to update you on construction plans at each of our schools this summer and the impact this will have on building use. We have several projects taking place as part of our multi-year health and safety upgrade to each of our schools being financed by a bond approved by Portsmouth voters in the fall of 2021. These projects continue to proceed on schedule and I want to thank our District Building Committee for all of the time and effort they have put into helping to oversee this schedule.
The impact of Summer 2023 construction at each of our schools will be as follows:
Summer 2023 Building Use - No Public Access:
- Melville
- PHS Main Building
- PHS Field House
Summer 2023 Building Use - Open for Access:
- Hathaway
- PMS
- PHS Field House Fitness Area - Open to PHS Athletes Only According to Supervised Schedule
