In a surprise announcement on May 5th, Victoria Travis, a 3rd-grade special educator at Hathaway, was presented with an NBC 10/RIDE Golden Apple Award. Commissioner Infante-Green and Patrice Wood were on hand for the announcement as well as Victoria’s family. Victoria was nominated by several parents for her positive attitude and relationship-building skills with students. A great tribute during Staff Appreciation Week! The announcement will air on NBC-10 on May 19th.
