The Ski & Snowboard Club is for anyone who would like to participate. We meet on an as needed basis throughout the winter months. The goal is to plan day and overnight trips to local mountains throughout New England. It is also possible to plan larger trips to places like Colorado or Utah over February vacation when there is enough interest and desire from students. The club provides a great opportunity to get away and have some fun with your friends or to meet new ones. It is recommended that you already know how to ski or snowboard but it is not a requirement. Proper equipment is necessary and this includes a helmet. Some mountains we have visited include Okemo, Jay Peak, Sugarbush, Stowe, Mt. Snow, Loon, Bretton Woods, Cannon, Snowbird (Utah), Winter Park (Colorado), Brighton, (Utah), Solitude (Utah), Mary Jane (Colorado). Mrs. Phillips is the advisor. Please feel free to visit her in the guidance office if you have questions or would like to participate.
