Rachel's Challenge Community Presentation

Rachel’s Challenge is a program that attempts to address the root causes of school violence, bullying, prejudice, and self-harm through student wellness programs that build connection, hope, and resilience. The program will be introduced to middle school and high school students at assemblies on September 19th and 20th. There will also be a community presentation on September 20th from 6-7pm in the PHS Auditorium. We invite parents and/or students to come and listen to the mission of Rachel's Challenge as well as the power that it will have in Portsmouth. Rachel’s Challenge will be a great addition to the Start with Hello (Sandy Hook Promise) program that has been in place in the PSD for a number of years and will continue to be used by Hathaway and Melville with our younger students.
