Please review the information below before beginning the registration process.

Children must be five years old on or before September 1st for Kindergarten.

All Required Documentation must be uploaded to the Online Registration Portal under the Documents Tab. Registration will be considered incomplete if required documentation is missing and will be returned. If you do not have a document scanner you can use a smartphone to take an image of your required document and attach them to the document section. If needed, the documents can be scanned by the registrar.

Registration is done online through our Aspen Registration Portal. Then finalized at an in person appointment. Setting up the appointment: When the Aspen piece is complete, before hitting submit, click the link at the top of the page with the option to make an appointment in the registration calendar. Click for help. The student’s information must be entered in the Portsmouth School Department’s online Aspen registration portal prior to your appointment.

If you are new to the Portsmouth School Department, you will need to create an Aspen registration portal account to enroll your child. (please be sure to register for the correct school year)

A desktop/laptop computer must be used to set up a new Aspen account.  The new account cannot be created on a mobile device.

If you already have an existing Aspen account with a student in the district you can access the Online Registration Portal here by using that account. When logged in to Aspen proceed to Start a new New Student Registration > +Initiate. (please be sure to register for the correct school year)
