I have been a teacher in the Portsmouth Schools for the past thirty years. My teaching career began as a resource teacher at the Portsmouth Middle School in grades 5 and 6. I've taught both first grade and second grade for thirteen years at Melville School. For the past two years, I have been an interventionist teaching students in kindergarten and first grade.

Currently, I am the school counselor supporting students throughout the day, whether it is with a student individually, in small groups, or in the classroom. My primary goal is to help your child be successful academically, emotionally, and socially. Some of the topics that I cover include how to manage emotions, how to maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
