Having taught at five schools in very different environments in Indonesia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and now Rhode Island as a teacher and leader, I've always remained committed to developing systems that ensure all students experience success both academically and socio-emotionally.
I enjoy building relationships with students and colleagues to create a culture that fosters students' sense of belonging in their entire school experience, from academics to extracurriculars. I'm committed to helping students navigate conversations with peers and teachers to resolve conflict when it arises and to restore relationships so students can remain invested in their learning and active contributors to our congenial school culture.
It is my goal to ensure that our students not only learn successful study skills that enable them to graduate and pursue college and career goals, but that they learn how to respectfully engage with others and negotiate conflict.
I'm looking forward to overseeing discipline and student services working with our 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students, teachers, and parents and to encourage our values of perseverance, respect, innovation, dedication, and engagement.
