Hi!

My name is Kim Warrington. Currently, my role at Portsmouth High School is a teacher, role model and support for students who try to balance their personal challenges inside and outside of the classroom. Whether my students like to think it or not, they inspire me everyday! Being able to help these students learn how to be accountable in their day to day lives and persevere through difficult times, is something they can take with them after their time at Portsmouth High School is long over.

I am a Rhode Island College graduate and  I am taking classes towards my Masters degree. This is my 12th year of teaching, comprised of many past experiences including, teaching refugee children in Australia. Sports are another passion of mine and I take part in overseas sports opportunities including; being a member of USA Athletes International Softball and the 2016 National USA Karate Team. I am also a softball coach throughout the state of Rhode Island. I love helping students excel in whatever their own passions might be!
