Our Mission is to serve nutritious meals at affordable prices in a customer friendly atmosphere.
We recognize the importance of good nutrition and want to take all reasonable steps to make sure students have access to school meals. These steps include providing access to applications for Free or Reduced Lunch for those families that qualify. The links to meal benefit applications are posted below. Paper applications are also available in the main office.

Lunch: $2.85 (Reduced: $0.40) / Breakfast: $1.25 (Reduced: $0.30)
Meal benefit applications (Free and Reduced) must be renewed within 30 days after the start of each school year. Failure to do so will revoke your students' meal benefits until an application is processed and they are deemed eligible.
Applications can be submitted online or turned into the main office at any time during the school year. Any balance prior to being determined eligible will remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

In partnership with Chartwells, Portsmouth is now using Nutrislice to publish the school menus on an interactive website. They also offer a free smartphone app. You can access the school menus anywhere, anytime!

All students who do not qualify for Free Lunch are expected to pay for school meals and other items at the time of purchase. Student are not permitted to charge meals or other items.
Payments are accepted at point-of-sale.
Parents may also set up a student account through mySchoolBucks where payments can be applied online and multiple payment options are available. The mySchoolBucks site provides balance alerts, recurring payment options, and purchase history. Payments may also be applied to the students' account by sending in a check payable to Portsmouth School District noting the students' id on the memo line.
