If you are a NEW volunteer, you must submit an Authorization Form
(document is available for download below).
New volunteers to the Portsmouth Schools should download the Authorization Form below.
Please complete the form, include a copy of your Driver's License, a check for $5.00 made payable
to BCI (cash is not accepted), and return it to your child's school.
Through discussions with the Transition Advisory Committee, the following determination was made:
Parents/guardians of elementary school children that were approved volunteers during 2009-2010 will not need to be reapproved for 2010-11, even if their children have changed elementary schools.
If you are a parent/guardian of a PK- Grade 3 student and are a new volunteer to the district OR you were not on the approved volunteer list in 2009-2010, you must complete the Authorization Form.
Grade 4-8 parents/guardians, if not an approved volunteer at Portsmouth Middle School in 2009-2010, must complete the Authorization Form.
Grade 9-12 parents/guardians, if not an approved volunteer at Portsmouth High School in 2009-2010, must complete the Authorization Form.
